Kaweco Collection Fountain Pen: Toyama Teal

The Kaweco Sport is a perfect everyday fountain pen. The hexagonal barrel shape gives it an art deco feel, with silver accents. This Toyama Teal version is part of the Kaweco Collection.

On the coast of Toyama district– the namesake for this new Kaweco COLLECTION edition – the water is illuminated by a mysterious blue sheen during Spring. This rare and spectacular phenomenon is called bioluminescence and it is caused by light-emitting creatures. In Toyama, the bioluminescence is created by the gathering of a certain species of squid called the firefly squid. 

The pearly pigments in the colour of this pen means it sparkles ever so slightly when moved around in the light. 

It's 10.5cm long when closed and 13cm with the cap posted, meaning as well as being a great pocket pen, it's also a comfortable length to write with. 

The stainless steel nib is made by Bock of Heidelberg and is available in fine and medium size. 

Takes international short ink cartridges or Kaweco Sport Mini Converter. 

Comes in a simple card box (shimmery Teal to match!) with 1 cartridge.
